RE:              Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Contractor Licensing Board:

Appoint the following people:

· Joe Caldwell (749.9452) to a three year term that will expire 12/31/10 (Architect)

· Dennis Odgers (843.5277) to a four year term that will expire 12/31/11 (General Contractor)

· Michael Bowman (843.2910) to a two year term that will expire 12/31/09 (Electrical Contractor)

· Kevin Hoppe (843.5670) to a two year term that will expire 12/31/09 (Plumbing Contractor)

· Ernie Oschel (843.1691) to a two year term that will expire 12/31/09 (Mechanical Contractor)

Sister Cities Advisory Board:

Appoint Bob Moody to vacant position that will expire 12/31/09.
