One (1) Roll-off refuse Truck – Public Works Department – #B07015

 

Public Works Solid Waste requested bids for one roll-off refuse truck.  Solid Waste equipment is replaced according to our equipment replacement schedule.  The equipment replacement schedule is based on age, mileage, hours of use, and cost of maintenance and upkeep.  The low bid from Custom Truck did not meet transmission specifications.  This truck is an addition to the fleet to accommodate growth in the residential and commercial areas requiring an additional route.  This purchase was approved in the 2007 budgeting process.
