Please place the following item on the consent agenda for the City Commission to consider at their November 5, 2013 meeting:

Background:

Solid Waste Division of Public Works has requested bids for the following trucks –

One (1) Front Load Refuse and Three (3) Automated Side Load trucks.

Recommendations

Central Maintenance Garage staff recommends the low bids below. Complete bid tab attached.

Funding

The trucks are funded through bonds, Resolution No. 7029, account 400-3-3000-6005.

Action Request

Authorize the Public Works Solid Waste Division to purchase the low bid trucks from Elliott Equipment and Downing Sales.
