RE:	Half ton 4X4 trucks

Background

The Solid Waste Division identified replacement of Units #402 and #403 in the 2015 budget process.  Both of these units are supervisor support vehicles and transport staff and support material for daily operations.  The current units have exceeded their life cycle within the Solid Waste operation.  Central Maintenance has identified these units as qualifying for replacement under the city’s replacement guidelines.

Staff Recommendation

Central Maintenance Garage and Solid Waste staff recommend the purchase of (2) two half ton 4X4 trucks from Laird Noller Ford.
