Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:
Authorize staff to submit 2016 Kansas Airport Improvement Application to KDOT for apron repair and reconstruction in an amount of $162,400.
Executive Summary:		The Kansas Department of Transportation is requesting application for the Kansas Airport Improvement Program.  This is a state program through the Department of Transportation. KDOT is also funding the reconstruction of Taxiway C This application will complete the reconstruction of the apron area on the west side of the airport.  The funding is ninety percent (90%) state and the city match will be ten percent (10%).
Strategic Goal Area:		Infrastructure maintenance
Fiscal Impact (Amount/Source):		The City’s match will be ten percent (10%) or approximately $16,000.  Funding is available in 2017 in the Capital Improvement Plan/Budget.
