In general, the following information is usually requested at the time applications are being accepted. Potential applicants are encouraged to begin collecting the information below prior to open application period.
- Employment Application – completed online application in full with all relevant details
- Uploaded resume with introductory cover letter
- List 3 personal professional references on the application.
- Valid (current) motor vehicle license(s) number. NOTE: Driving History Requirements.
- A current, valid Kansas EMT and/or Kansas Paramedic Certificates, and/or National Registry.
- Any other relevant professional or training certifications that you may want to list.
- A current, valid Candidate Physical Abilities Testing (CPAT) certificate at time of application closure (Valid 1 year from date of issue only.).
Finally, the successful applicant will be required to pass:
- a background check,
- a drug screen,
- a post-offer physical examination in accordance with NFPA 1582.
- Upon hire, sign a non-smoking agreement.
