The City’s new permitting and licensing software, Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EPL) is now live.
Per City of Lawrence Administrative Policy Number AP-128, the Qualifying Party for a contractor license must obtain at least eight (8) hours of related continuing education annually, which meet the City’s criteria for approval; and licensed tradespersons must obtain at least six (6) hours of continuing trade education annually, which meet the City’s criteria for approval. Due to challenges with attending in-person continuing education courses, the Building Safety Division has issued Continuing Education Guidelines for guidance in obtaining approved continuing education hours.
Recognized Continuing Education Programs:

- September 28, 2023 – KCMAPT 2023 Fall Training Session
