Hours: M-F 8:30-5:00 PM, Sat. 8:30-1:00 PM.  Closed Sundays.
Buys many types of metals: aluminum, iron, copper, brass, auto parts, and more.
Other items accepted for recycling: plastics (#1- #7), cardboard, chipboard, newspaper, office paper, magazines, and books.

Douglas County Single-Stream Recycling Drop-Offs
Prairie Moon Waldorf School (1853 E 1600 Rd)
Stull United Methodist Church (1596 E 250 Road)
Vinland Fair Site parking lot (711 E 1750 Rd)
Wakarusa Valley School (1104 E 1000 Rd)
At each of the locations, there will be two recycling containers. One container will be for cardboard only, and one container will accept mixed materials.

Hours: M-F 7:30-4:30 PM, Sat. 7:30-1:00 PM.  Closed Sundays.
Items accepted: aluminum, steel/tin cans, scrap metal, plastics (#1-#7), glass, cardboard, chipboard, mixed paper (news, office, magazines, paperback books, etc.). A small fee of $1 per bag applies to all single-stream recycling dropped off at this location.
