Recycling drop-off bin removal from Hillcrest Shopping Center

Porter ArneillCity, Solid Waste

The City-sponsored recycling drop-off bins for newspaper, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass will be removed permanently on Wednesday, July 19th from the Hillcrest Shopping Center parking lot at 9th Street and Centennial Drive.  The property owner has requested the removal of these public recycling drop-off bins.  The City of Lawrence appreciates the nearly 20 years Hillcrest Shopping Center served as the host of these public recycling drop-off bins.

Two alternate locations with all four recycling drop-off bins for newspaper, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass are: Dillons Store at 4701 W 6th Street and Hy-Vee at 3504 Clinton Parkway.
