Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a historical walking tour through Oak Hill Cemetery to learn about some of those who survived Quantrill’s Raid.
The tour is scheduled 8-9:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, 1605 Oak Hill Ave. Participants will be led through the graveyard tour by local Historian Brittany Keegan, who will tell the stories of survivors and what they witnessed during the raid. Pre-registration is required. The program is open to those eight years-old and older. Cost is $20 per person.
