Lawrence Parks and Recreation is hosting a yoga nidra workshop to teach participants about the physical and emotional benefits of meditation.

Yoga Nidra Workshop is an hour of guided meditation where participants lie down on their yoga mats to experience the tension release and increased peace of mind that yoga nidra provides. The second is 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. The workshops are being offered to those 15 years-old and older. Cost of each workshop is $10.
