LPRD to give parents night off from childcare

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering children an evening of gymnastics, food and fun.

Kid’s Night Out participants will enjoy a fun night of games, activities, open gym and movies in a safe, supervised environment. All children in attendance must be three years-old to12 years-old. It will be 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in the gymnastics room at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost of attending is $25 per child. All activities, refreshments and food are included in the fee.

Additional Kid’s Night Out programs will be held Saturdays, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.
