Prairie Park Nature Center is hosting a nighttime program to provide an opportunity to see how animals settle in at night.
Nighttime at the Nature Center invites participants to learn about what happens when the nature center closes and how the animals adapt to their surroundings when the lights go out. The program is 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at the nature center, 2730 Harper St. Cost is $5 for participants seven years-old to 16 years-old, per session and $10 per participant over 16 years-old, per session. Children under 16 years-old must be accompanied by a registered adult. Pre-registration is required.
The series continues with another program on Friday, March 9, with different programs, activities and crafts.
