Animation Camp to teach children basics of digital design

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, along with Youth Tech, will provide youth the chance to learn, create and direct digital animation.

Animation Camp will teach students the basics of animation and digital design. Students will use animation software in Adobe Flash to create interactive animations they will be able share with others. Animation Camp is open to children 10 years-old to 17 years-old. It will be held 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Thursday, June 11-14, at the Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $155 per camper.
