Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, along with Mad Science of Kansas City, offers youth a fun, interactive look at the history of robots.

Rockin’ Robots will be held 1:30-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 18-21, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St. This camp is open to children eight years-old to 12 years-old and will introduce them to the world of robots. Rockin’ Robots will give campers the opportunity to learn about robot design, sensors, and the programming required for robots to complete tasks.  Students will program a robot to do a series of maneuvers and participate in robot relays. Campers will also build their own working robot to take home. All supplies are included with the registration fee. Cost is $155 per child.
