The Kids Fishing Derby invites young anglers to test their fishing expertise at Mary’s Lake, 2730 Harper St.  Anglers are asked to bring their own fishing poles and bait. A limited number of poles and bait will be on hand for use. Supervision will be provided; however, parents are asked to assist. The derby will be held 8:30 a.m.-noon tomorrow, Saturday, June 9, with a pre-derby meeting being held at 8:30 a.m. The derby is free and open to the public.

Lunch will be provided, and prizes will be given away in fish categories. Registration forms can be found at: https://assets.lawrenceks.org/assets/lprd/specialevents/kidsfishingderby18.pdf.  Please bring registration forms filled out to save time, however they may also be filled out onsite.
