Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center is holding an adventure camp program giving youth the chance to star in their very own nature TV episode.

Lights, Camera, Animals provides children six years-old to 13 years-old with an opportunity to put their technical knowledge and animal expertise together in an entertaining and educational video. Each participant will take home the final cut to share with family and friends. Campers must bring a sack lunch and wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.

Camp runs daily 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 25-29, at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. There is also an extended camp option of 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 25-29.  Cost of the camp is $120 per camper. The extended camp cost is $145 per camper.
