Prairie Park Nature Center offers zoo trip

Prairie Park Nature Center is offering a program for children to visit the Topeka Zoo.

We’re Going to the Zoo invites children eight years-old to 13 years-old to depart from the nature center, 2730 Harper St., and travel by bus to the Topeka Zoo, which they will tour with the nature center’s naturalists. The excursion will be held 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, June 22. Cost is $30 per person and includes transportation to and from the zoo as well as admission to the zoo. Participants are required to bring a sack lunch for a picnic in the park.

A second trip to the zoo will be 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, July 20.
