Youth to be introduced to the game of soccer

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a pair of classes for young children to learn about the sport of soccer in a fun, organized environment.

Little Kickers and Junior Kickers are basic introductions to the game of soccer. These interactive classes will provide children with opportunities to laugh, make new friends and play soccer. Little Kickers is open to those two years-old to five years-old and Junior Kickers is open to children ages four years-old to five years-old. Parents are welcome to watch or join in with the class. The classes are available in two sessions: 10-10:50 a.m. Wednesdays, July 11-Aug. 1, or 5-5:50 p.m. Thursdays, July 12-Aug. 2. Both sessions will be held at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $40 per kicker, per session.
