LPRD offering a chance to improve your strength and stamina

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a class to increase your strength and stamina.

Strength and Stamina is an intense, total body muscle and cardio-training course that energizes and challenges participants. Workouts will include a variety of training methods including, but not limited to, tabata circuits, HIIT (high intensity interval training), resistance training, plyometrics, calisthenics, as well as core strengthening and dumbbell weight work. Exercises can be modified to fit anyone’s fitness level. Some activities may be performed outdoors, weather permitting.

Strength and Stamina will be held 5:45-6:35 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 11-Dec. 13, at Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St.  It cost $94 per person.
