Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s 39th Annual Fall Arts and Crafts Festival will be held this Sunday in South Park. The event is free and open to the public.
The Fall Arts & Crafts Festival will run 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St.
The fair brings regional, non-commercial arts and crafts vendors to the park to both showcase and sale their materials. A variety of food and drink vendors, including a beer garden, will also be present. Activities for children will also be available.
Live music will be played throughout the day at the William Kelly Bandstand. Performances include:
Noon – Lawrence City Band
1 p.m. – The Beer Bellies,
2 p.m. – Kim & the Quake
3 p.m. – Spirit Dancer – Dennis Rogers
4 p.m. – KC Blue Kitty and the Kewl Katz
