Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will host a gymnastics open house in honor of National Gymnastics Day 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane.
The National Gymnastics Day event will have an open gym to give individuals the opportunity to work on their skills and try out different equipment. The open house will also include a moonwalk, face painting and games.
The National Gymnastics Day event is free and open to children up to 14 years-old. Preregistration is not required. An adult must accompany children under 10 years-old.
