LPRD to host West Coast Swing instructional program

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering the opportunity to learn one of the most challenging lead-and-follow dances: the West Coast Swing.

West Coast Swing utilizes a wide range of style and tempos of music, such as blues, rock, hip-hop and country. Class will be held 7:25-8:25 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 21-Dec. 2, at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. Cost is $30 per enrollee. Participants must enroll with a partner.
