Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of belly dancing.
Belly Dance Level 1 Rhythm & Veils Workshop invites participants 12 years-old and older to learn the rhythms of belly dance before incorporating veils into the dance. The workshop is 6:30-7:25 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. Cost is $10 per person.
Another Belly Dance Level 1 Rhythm & Veils Workshop is 6:30-7:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.
