Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St., offers open walking 9-11 a.m. Monday-Friday.
Public walking is free and open to the public, as well as provides a place to walk regardless of the weather. Some programs may alter the scheduled walk hours, so walkers should contact the recreation center for any changes in the schedule.
