Vendor Deadline for Holiday Bazaar Approaching

The deadline for vendor registrations for Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Holiday Bazaar, an arts and crafts public event, is approaching.

The Holiday Bazaar is open to non-commercial vendors only. Vendor spaces are eight feet by eight feet and cost $70 and an additional $5 for access to electricity. Deadline to register is Monday, Nov. 5. The Holiday Bazaar takes place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. The event is free and open to the public to attend. An additional holiday arts and crafts will be held in December. The Holiday Extravaganza is open to non-commercial and commercial vendors. Vendor spaces are 10 feet by 10 feet and cost $75 for non-commercial vendors and $115 for commercial vendors plus an extra $5 for access to electricity. Deadline to register is Monday, Nov. 19, or until spaces are full. The Holiday Extravaganza takes place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane and is also free and open to the public. No concession vendors accepted for either event as they are provided by Sandbar Subs, who is under contract with the City of Lawrence to provide concession services for the Parks and Recreation Department.

Registration can also be done at any Parks and Recreation facility including: the Community Building; Sports Pavilion Lawrence; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 East 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St.; Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive; Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. or the Administrative Office in South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St.
