LPRD to provide participants with guitar lessons

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering Beginning Guitar for those wanting to learn how to play guitar.

Beginning Guitar invites individuals 14 years-old and older to learn basic guitar chords, tablature, rhythm patterns and standard notation. Guitars are not provided – each person must bring their own. Classes are 7-8 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 5-Dec. 10, at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. 9th St. Cost is $45.
