The northbound ramp from Iowa St. to McDonald Drive will be closed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th for tree maintenance alongside the ramp. The closure will allow for access for aerial equipment and loading of debris where the ramp narrows approaching the underpass tunnel.
Traffic for northbound McDonald Drive will be detoured west on W 6th St (US Hwy 40), then north on Rockledge Rd., and finally north on McDonald Drive. Traffic control devices will be in place to direct traffic around the closure. The ramp will be opened as soon as work is completed, which is anticipated to be at, or before, 2:00 pm on Thursday, Oct 25th.
Additional routine roadside tree work will also be completed over the next two weeks, which will not require street closures, but may slow traffic.
