Lawrence residents have a free way to get to the polls this election day. Lawrence Transit is offering free rides to customers on Tuesday, November 6 to encourage all residents to get out and vote.
“Voting is a fundamental human right and we want to make sure that voters do not face transportation obstacles on election day.” said Robert Nugent, Lawrence Transit Administrator. “We are proud to be a community partner and we want to make sure that every citizen has access to their civic rights and civic duty.”
