The City of Lawrence, its Parks and Recreation and Police departments will hold a public meeting to gather input for a park around the future police headquarters building.

The open-house meeting, being led by consultants Hoefer Wysocki Architects and Land Works Studio, will be held between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 7th, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Legacy Room, 100 Rock Chalk Lane.

This is the second of four scheduled meetings – see below for future meetings. The focus of these meetings will be on future park elements that will share and compliment the police headquarters. The design team is seeking the public’s input before they begin conceptual site design.
