Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will be installing a new play feature, a tugboat, in the leisure pool Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive.
Water fitness classes, Lawrence Memorial Hospital therapy and morning warm water workouts will be cancelled for the day. Normal open swim hours for the leisure pool will be held beginning at 4 p.m. the same day, and the lap pool will remain open for normal operating hours, beginning at 5:15 a.m. for public lap swim. The facility will close at 8 p.m., its normal closing time.
