Toddler Open Gym At The Community Building Provides Toddlers Space To Run

Kevin PowellCity, Parks & Recreation

With colder weather upon us, parents may be looking for a place for their toddlers to expend energy during the morning hours. Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Toddler Open Gym continues to be that answer for parents.

Running through the second week of May 2019, Toddler Open Gym is held 10:30-11:45 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.

The gym is open to children under six years-old.  Cost is $1 per child, per day to participate.  No pre-registration is required.   Children will be able to play with provided toys, as well as have space to run around, burning energy. Individuals and groups are welcome.  We require one adult for every five children.

For more information about Toddler Open Gym, please contact the Community Building at (785) 832-7920.
