Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Indoor Aquatic Center will be the site of the Winter Qualifier West swim meet Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 1-2.
The meet is being held at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive. The meet is being hosted by Ad Astra Area Aquatics. Admission to view the event is free.
Swimmers will participate in a variety of events from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and 8:30 a.m.-5p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. Public lap swimming will be available on a limited basis throughout the meet during the normal hours of operation. The zero depth and children’s area will also be available without being affected during operating hours.
Another swim meet, hosted the following weekend by Ad Astra Area Aquatics and the Kansas City Blazers, will be held at the Indoor Aquatic Center Friday-Sunday, Dec. 7-9.
