Ho, Ho, Hungry: Breakfast with Santa quickly approaching

Santa Claus is coming to town and he is famished! The jolly old man will be joining Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department for Breakfast with Santa 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.

Breakfast will feature pancakes prepared by Chris Cakes, “Kansas City’s original pancake flippers.” Sausage, orange juice and water will also be provided. In addition, children will have the opportunity to create holiday arts and crafts and visit with Santa.

Pre-registration for the event is encouraged, but individuals may also pay at the door. The fee is $3 for children three years-old to 12 years-old and $5 for individuals 13 years-old and older. For those only wanting to visit Santa and participate in craft making the fee is $5.
