KPW combines kickboxing, Pilates, weights for high-intensity program

Ring in the New Year with a fitness program from Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department that provides you a combination to your workout routine.

KPW (Kickboxing, Pilates, Weights) training delivers a dynamic full-body, 40-minute workout, consisting of an yoga warmup, high-intensity cardio intervals, strength training and core work to maximize results. Workouts are integrated with music to assist in keeping participants motivated. Participants are encouraged to bring a mat to class.

KPW will be held 6:40-7:20 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 7-March 6, and is being held at East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E 15th St. The cost is $91 per person, per session. A second session is planned for Mondays and Wednesdays, March 18-May 15.
