City of Lawrence Job Fair to be held January 31

The City of Lawrence will hold a Job Fair, highlighting full-time and part-time jobs currently available with the City, as well as other seasonal and temporary jobs available with the City’s Parks and Recreation Department. This includes seasonal jobs like lifeguards, youth sports umpires, camp counselors and a host of other jobs available this summer.

The Job Fair will be held 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Union Pacific Depot, 402 N Second St. Representatives will be on hand to discuss the requirements and qualifications needed for jobs available, as well as answer questions applicants may have about a specific job.  All City of Lawrence full-time jobs require applicants to be at least 18 years-old or older to apply. For part-time positions with Parks and Recreation some are open to those 15 years-old and older.  Attendees will also be able to apply onsite.
