LPRD to hold salsa dance workshop

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department continues its instructional dance programs with Beginning/Intermediate Salsa Workshop.

Beginning/Intermediate Salsa Workshop participants will learn the basics, movements and concepts necessary to learn the finesse of salsa dancing. Class will include presentation of proper footwork, discussion of Cuban motion and creation of torque for turns. The workshop is offered 6:30-9 p.m., Friday, March 8, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $15 per person. Partner enrollment is required.
