Kids Day Off program offered during time off from school

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Special Events Division is offering a youth program at Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St., to entertain children while they are out of school in later February.

Kid’s Day Off is open to children five years-old to 12 years-old and features structured activities, such as sports, games, arts and crafts and field trips while being out of school. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch on both days. The camp runs 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 21-22. Cost is $60 per child.
