Planning and Development Services Department
Starting Salary:  $54,596 to $65,164 Annually DOQ

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Under the direction of the Planning and Development Services Director, this position performs analytical and technical duties in support of the operations and services of the Planning and Development Services Department, including researching and reporting on topics related to land development, completing various department annual reports, assisting in the development and implementation of the department budget, supporting internal audits, drafting and tracking administrative policies, developing and monitoring the department’s webpage content and other informational media and methods, researching and managing amendments to the codes, developing and implementing staff training programs, and performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Planning, Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or a related field.  Master’s degree preferred. Must have at least two years of increasingly responsible experience in public or business administration, and demonstrated experience in creating, implementing and managing program-level initiatives.  The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be adaptive, self-motivated, collaborative, innovative, and able to maintain a strong team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer technologies are critical. Successful candidate must pass the post-offer City physical and drug screen.
