The City-sponsored recycling drop-off bins for cardboard, mixed paper, and glass will be removed permanently today, February 11th, from the North Lawrence location at 740 N 2nd Street. The property owner has requested the removal of these public recycling drop-off bins. The City of Lawrence appreciates the nearly 20 years this property owner served as the host of these public recycling drop-off bins.

Two alternate locations to drop off newspaper, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass for recycling are: Dillons Store at 4701 W 6th Street and Hy-Vee at 3504 Clinton Parkway. In addition, there are drop-off recycling bins for newspaper, cardboard, and mixed paper in the Checkers parking lot at 2300 Louisiana Street.
