Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is currently taking team registrations for its spring Adult Sports volleyball leagues.
Adult Sports Volleyball is offered in women and coed leagues. Leagues range from competitive to recreational and consist of the following leagues: women’s power, women’s sand, women’s recreational, coed power, coed sand, coed recreational, women’s power double header and coed power double header. Power and Sand leagues consist of a seven-match season followed by a single-elimination tournament. Recreation leagues will consist of an eight-match season. Double header leagues consist of 12 matches followed by a single-elimination tournament. Fees are assessed at a team rate. Cost is $150 per team for sand leagues, $195 for recreation and power leagues, and $260 per team for double header leagues. Teams registering on or before Friday, March 1, will receive a $15 discount. Deadline to register is Friday, March 8.
