Minigardens are a chance for imagination to take root

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center to get participants to unleash their creativity through customizable gardens.

Minigardens provides participants ages four years-old and older with the tools to design and decorate their own miniature gardens. Containers, soil, plants and decorations will be provided to allow participants to put inspiration into their miniature garden. Minigardens is 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. One garden per registered participant.
