Zumba keeps your dance moves fresh and cardio up

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department announces spring enrollment for Zumba classes.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating, and effective fitness program. Zumba combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.

Zumba with Pat Middaugh is offered from 12:10-12:50p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, March 18-May 17, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St. Cost is $85.

Zumba with Susan King is offered from 5:30-6:25p.m., Mondays, March 18-May 13 at the Community Building and 5:30-6:25p.m., Wednesdays, March 20-May 15 also at the Community Building. Cost is $46.

Zumba with Anna Oliver is offered from 8:30-9:20a.m., Saturdays, March 23-May 18 at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $85.
