Start slimmin’ and trimmin’ with LPRD fitness class

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering the opportunity to feel good while getting slim in Slimnastics.

Slimnastics concentrates on muscle toning and strengthening muscle groups to promote healthy, well-balanced bodies. Exercises will be done to music, but there are no routines to learn. Participants need to bring a mat for the floor workout.

The class is scheduled 9-10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, March 18-May 17, at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. Cost is $85 per person and is open to those  15 years-old and older.
