LPRD is accepting registration for Zumba fitness classes

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department announces spring enrollment for Zumba classes.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class incorporating Latin and international music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness program. Zumba combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.

Zumba with Pat Middaugh is offered from 12:10-12:50 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, March 18-May 17, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St. Cost is $85.

Zumba with Susan King is offered from 5:30-6:25 p.m., Mondays, March 18-May 13, at the Community Building and 5:30-6:25p.m., Wednesdays, March 20-May 15 also at the Community Building. Cost is $46.

Zumba with Anna Oliver is offered from 8:30-9:20 a.m., Saturdays, March 23-May 18, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence. Cost is $46.

Zumba with Paula Fay is offered from 7-7:50p.m., Tuesdays, March 19-May 14 at Sports Pavilion Lawrence. Cost is $46.
