Introduction to Volleyball is a chance for participants to try something new

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department Youth Sports Division is hosting a class for children wishing to learn more about volleyball.

Introduction to Volleyball invites participants in kindergarten through third grade to gain entry-level knowledge about volleyball. Participants will learn the concepts of volleyball, as well as the fundamentals of passing, setting, serving and rotations.

Classes are held: 6-6:50 p.m. Tuesdays, April 2- April 23; 6-6:50 p.m. Thursdays, April 4- April 25; 6-6:50 p.m. Tuesdays, April 30- May 21 and 6-6:50 p.m. Thursdays, May 2- May 23. All class sessions will be held at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost to participate is $45 per participant, per class.
