Find your center and improve your health with Tai Chi

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Departments’ Lifelong Recreation is offering a Tai Chi class for those looking to improve their health.

Tai Chi for Health is designed to improve the health and quality of life for everyone. Participants may stand or sit throughout the duration of the class. Class is being held 11:15 a.m.-noon Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 19-May 16, at Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St., and another session 5:30-6:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 19-May 16, at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. Ninth St. Cost is $68 per person, per session.

The Arthritis Foundation of America, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Administration on Aging each recommend this program as meeting their standards for health programming.
