Nature Center provides field trips for home-schooled students

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center offers home-schooled students the opportunity of educational field trips.

Home-School Science Field Trips, open to those six years-old to 13 years-old, are scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Mondays, April 22 and May 6, at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. Participants will take a two-hour field trip, combining live animal programs with outdoor field investigations. Cost is $10 per child, per session.
