Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Sports Pavilion Lawrence will be the site of the Never Walk on the Hardwood Youth Basketball Tournament Saturday-Sunday, April 13-14.
The Never Walk on the Hardwood Youth Basketball Tournament is a first grade through 12th grade tournament, showcasing teams from across the region.
The tournament will utilize all eight courts in the sports pavilion and will prevent free play to the public for duration of the tournament. However, the other community recreation centers will have hours for free play. Their schedules are as follows:
Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.
Saturday, April 13 – 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday, April 14 – 12-2 p.m.
East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St.
Sunday, April 14 – 2-6 p.m.
Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St.
Saturday, April 28 – 10-6 p.m.
