LEGO®-inspired engineering camp brings Minecraft to life

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, along with Play-Well TEKnologies, Inc., is offering a summer camp introducing children to engineering concepts using LEGO® sets.

LEGO®, Minecraft, Build: Adventure Game will be held 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday-Friday, May 28-31, at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. 9th St. Children five years-old to seven years-old will use the resourcefulness, creativity and cooperation that comes from uniquely building adventures through the use of LEGO®. This experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors, using gameplay elements and characters inspired by the popular Minecraft game. Cost is $155 per child.
